Warren Weeks

September 5, 1942 - April 23, 2018
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Resided in Willow, Alaska

Warren Weeks, age 75, gained his gold wing status on April 23, 2018. He took his last breath surrounded by his family while fishing tales were being told.
He will be remembered for giving freely of his time and money, gift of gab and quick-wit humor.
He was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn., and called Willow, Alaska, home for the past 20 years.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Edson Sr. and Clara Ann; and brother, Edson Jr. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Jeannie (Jerry); sons, Steve (Jen) and Dave (Tina); "Greatkids" Brea, Austin, Kelsey Parker and Ian; brothers, Bob (Judy) and Richie (Aleda); along with many loving relatives and good friends.
Warren was married for 54 years. He retired from the IRS, though he never quit doing figures, working miracles on financials and taxes. During "retirement" he enjoyed working for (and helping them thrive!): Eagle Welding (Minnesota), Reeve Air Motive (Alaska), Airframes/Airforms (Alaska), ALSCO (Alaska), Crystal Creek Lodge (Alaska), Bristol Bay Supply (Alaska), Trapper Creek Enterprises (Alaska) and last, but most heart-warming, with his sons at Carlson Auto (Minnesota). He was an active member of the Willow Lions Club.
Two celebrations of his life parties will be held later this summer: in June in Alaska and in September in Minnesota. In lieu of condolences, Warren would be happier to see you give a gift of random kindness. We are better people, given a precious gift, by having him in our lives and forever in our hearts.
