Timothy Paul Bennett, 41, passed away July 18th, 2018, following a motorcycle accident in Anchorage, Alaska, where he resided.

He is survived by his adopted daughter Madison Lewis-Bennett of Anchorage, Alaska, mother Velvie Bennett of Chester, VA, sister Melanie Bennett Parker (Jeremy), niece and nephews of Goochland, VA, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenny Bennett, of Mineral, VA.

Tim was a 1994 graduate of Amherst County High School. After high school he proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force. He was an active member and officer of the Alaska Vets Motorcycle Club. Affectionately known in the club as “Monk,” he dedicated his life to serving others and honoring veterans.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in his hometown in Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent in Tim’s memory to the Alaska Vets Motorcycle Club at 7500 E 4th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska, 99504.
