Thomas Andrew Demyan, 73 passed away October 24, 2017 at Prestige Care Center, Anchorage.
A graveside service with military honors rendered by the US Air Force was conducted October 27, 2017 at Ft Richardson National Cemetery located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska
Tom was born July 13, 1944 in Surosa, West Virginia. He graduated from Stoco High School in 1962. Tom honorably served in the U.S. Air Force as a fireman. He has been a resident of Anchorage area where he was a commercial fisherman.
His family stated: “He will be missed by family and friends.”
Tom is survived by four sisters, Nera Sue Demyan, Beckley, West Virginia; Betty Wolford, Mountain Lake Park, Maryland; Charlotte Thomas, Elkins, West Virginia and Judy Cotner, Stephens City, Virgina; and two brothers, Frank Demyan, Huttonsville, West Virginia and Greg Demyan, Beckley, West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nera Demyan and brother, Johnny Demyan.
