Obituary

In the late afternoon of Oct. 9, 2020, Shannon Denise Clark, beloved partner, mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away, at the age of 55, after a short illness. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, to Verna and James Clark, on April 10, 1965. Shannon attended East High School in Anchorage.

In 2006, Shannon and longtime partner Mike Winter welcomed the love of both of their lives, their daughter, Dallas. Dallas brought Shannon great joy; she was so proud of her passion for life, art, school and friends.

For the last 14 years, Shannon focused on their home, substitute teaching and traveling south each summer with Dallas, where they spent time with her brother, Hunter, his daughters, Courtney and Jordan and her late father. Family and friends were very important to Shannon.

She is survived and missed by her partner, Mike; daughter, Dallas; brothers, Don, Barry, Shawn and Hunter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Shannon was preceded in death by her mother, Verna; and father, James Clark.

In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the Brother Francis Shelter and Bean's Cafe at cssalaska.org, or call 907-222-7340.
