Over the past 20 years, Bob has volunteered 4-5 evenings a week at the Alaska Humane Society's Adopt-a-Cat shelter where he was known as "the cat whisperer" because of his unique ability to bond with each and every rescued pet.
Bob is survived by his two brothers, Dr John William Amos II of Pebble Beach, California and Dr Charles Davies Amos of Colorado Springs, Colorado. he will be sorely missed by all the musicians and performers he touched over his 48 years of producing CD's and supporting the preservation of the arts in Alaska.
