Born in Reno, Nevada
Resided in Anchorage, Alaska

Richard "Capt. Rick" Ameline passed away on Monday, July 23rd of 2018. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of 38 years, 4 children, and 4 grandchildren.

Capt. Rick was known and beloved by many and brought laughter and joy to the hearts of those around. Throughout his years as a pastor with the Salvation Army, as well as through his years in business and marketing (Tex-r-Us and others) he got to know, what seems like, a large portion of the state of Alaska.

He cared for those he met in all facets of life, whether it was through his ministry, business and marketing, or personal life. He always placed value on the people around him, and that was continuously at the center of his focus. His motto was "People Matter Most", and that held true to anyone that ever met him. One of his primary passions in life was being a bible scholar and dedicating his life to the Lord Jesus.

His family and friends will be holding a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 29th at 3:00 pm at their residence - 3002 Wendy's Way, Anchorage, AK 99517.

He was special and unforgettable in so many ways. He will be very greatly missed and always loved.
