77 year old, Copper Center resident, Noble "Butch" Clair Sherwood, II, passed away on July 5, 2017. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10:30 am on July 31,2017 at Lindquist Mortuaries and Cemeteries, 3408 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT 84401.

Butch was born April 13, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Noble G. and Katherine (Phillips) Sherwood. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United State Army and served in Korea. In 1972, Butch moved to Alaska. He enjoys gold mining, hunting, fishing and geology.

Butch is survived by his sisters, Fran Strikker of California and Linda West of Utah; daughter, Michelle Dooley of Alaska; sons, Noble M. Sherwood of Alaska, Mike Wagner of California, Bob Wagner and Joe Wagner both of Oregon and many grandchildren.
