Obituary

Marion Irene Trueblood Griffith Meyers was born on Aug. 5, 1919, at home on a desert homestead north of Caldwell, Idaho. She attended grade school in a one room school taught by her mother. Marion graduated high School in Caldwell and later attended the University of Idaho at Moscow. She graduated from Morris Beauty School in Spokane, Wash., where she met and later married Clarence Griffith in Seattle, Wash. They lived briefly on a cattle ranch in Northern Washington before moving to Southern California. Marion worked for Clarence as a licensed real estate sales person and ran the office a year before joining her husband in Anchorage, Alaska, in 1951. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar; mother, Laura; three brothers; a sister; and her husbands, Clarence Griffith and Albert Meyers. Marion was baptized according to Acts 2:38 on Christmas Eve 1950, and was a member of Faith Christian Community Church in Anchorage, Alaska. At her request there will be no service. Her cremated remains will be buried with those of her husband, Albert Meyers, at Fort Richardson National Cemetery.
