March 29, 1961 - October 30, 2020
Born in Redwood City, CA
Resided in Anchorage, Alaska

Ken resided in Alaska since the early 80s. He loved to joke and laugh, he made many friends with his bright, handsome smile and playful demeanor. Ken was born in Redwood City, Calif., on March 29, 1961, and graduated from St. Charles Elementary and Junipero Serra High Schools. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Medina; and mother, Margaret "Peggy" Medina (nee Moran). He is survived by brothers, Eugene, Dennis and Terry; sister, Mary Eileen; and half-sister, Michelle. As a youngster he was affectionately known as Kenny Baby.

Ken loved Alaska summers, spending time outside in his beautiful yard, planting flowers galore, always competing with the neighbors on grooming his yard. He loved to salmon fish, raise dogs, cook and socialize. He raised several schnauzers that he loved dearly. His final three were Ginger, the mom; and Titan and Maddie, the pups. Their ashes will be laid to rest with Ken, per his wishes.

Ken spent his last 13-plus years working for the State of Alaska as a Child Support Specialist and made many, many friends there. He served in the U.S. Army and was very proud of being a Ranger and Veteran. Ken was a wonderful brother and friend and will be missed by many. Rest In Peace until we meet again.
