Obituary

Kasey John Cramer born the loving son of Kenneth Cramer and the late Tina Marie Showers in Fort Worth Texas on 25 August 1982, has passed from this life and his spirit was carried into heaven.
First our family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love we have been shown since Kasey’s passing. We are grateful to each of you for being a part of his life and making it richer and enjoyable for him each day.
During his life he was blessed to be the older brother to David Cramer and the family lived their lives in England, Illinois and ultimately settled in Anchorage Alaska. Kasey graduated high achool while living in Eagle River Alaska. He always was head strong and wanted to move out on his own. At 18, he made his move and found a place in Anchorage where he was happy with his childhood sweetheart Nicole (Nikki) in a one bedroom apartment in town. Kasey worked in several jobs before finding the position he loved the most, as a driver for Arctic Office. He would always mention the people he encountered while making deliveries and the funny stories they would share. Kasey was a man with a large caring heart and always was looking for what good he could do for his friends.
As a family, David and I are respecting Kasey’s final wishes and will be spreading his ashes as he requested. During those final weeks Kasey asked us to pass on to all who cared about him not to cry over his passing from this life but to remember all the good times and laughter everyone had when they were together. Kasey was a son and brother who made our family proud. He put his life on hold and was there and cared for his mother in her final days and it ultimately took a great toll on his life. Her passing put Kasey into a severe depression. He was devoted to his mother and did all he could to remain strong during those difficult times. He continued to fight the disease that had engulfed his body. On 18 July 2020, at 3:20 pm he surrendered his soul to our Lord and passed peacefully from this earth, joining his mother in heaven, his departure from this life far before his time. In his final days he asked that everyone who knew him to remember the good times they had and asked you remember him when you are taking part in what he enjoyed most in life, camping, fishing, hiking and his love for the outdoors.
With his passing he leaves behind the many who love him; his father; step mother; brother; nieces and nephews along with the many uncles, aunts and his grand parents along with so many of his friends that were a part of his life over the years. He will be missed.
God Bless you Kasey, May Our Lord accept you into his arms and give you resting peace.
With the current pandemic (COVID 19) as a family we have decided to celebrate his life privately amongst ourselves and would ask each of you to gather and remember all the good times and enjoyment you and Kasey experienced over the years.
