Josefina Palma

September 18, 1959 - December 27, 2020
Born in The Philippines
Resided in Anchorage, Alaska

Jhossie passed away on Dec. 27, 2020, in the hands of our Lord after a courageous battle of kidney failure. She will be remembered by her loved ones who will honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

She was a warm, loving woman. She was friendly and soft spoken and found joy in the little things of life. A native to Bohol, she later migrated to the United States in 1993.

Jhossie met the love of her life, Dems Palma in Manila, where she was introduced by her sister. It was love at first sight for them both!

They enjoyed a long-distance relationship at first, then married in September 2000, in their new Alaska home. They were happily married for 21 years!

A devout Christian, she loved to share her faith with family and friends. Jhossie left behind devoted family and friends that will miss her sweet smile.

She is survived by her husband, Dems; sons, Luigi and Gelo; daughters, Kym and Demi Lou; her siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews; and grandson, William.

Jhossie's ashes will be taken to the Philippines in 2021.
