Joe Allen Jorgenson, 61 was born October 18, 1952 in Anchorage to James S. and Mary E. (Emerson) Jorgenson. Joe passed away at his residence in Anchorage on Monday, March 10, 2014.

Joe is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary Eileen and Clarence B. Gregory, Peyton, CO; and his sisters, Darlene L. (Patrick) Kearney, Wasilla and Cheryl L. Shackelford, Peyton, CO; as well as nephews, nieces, numerous great nephews and great nieces and the family and crew at Circle Plumbing and Heating where he worked and lived and loved them all very much.

He is preceded in death by his father, James; his brother, George A. Jorgenson; and great nephews, Joseph and Christopher.

Joe was a multi-talented man who worked at a little of everything doing Wildcat Well Drilling, Mining, Carpentry, Fishing to Mechanic. He had also taken up and was very good at woodworking with several of his projects taking high placements at the State Fair in Palmer. He was an all-around handyman. Though in later years he did not get to indulge much, his real love was ocean fishing and most of all, boats. Joe is sorely missed by family and many friends. We love you, Joe!
