Diane Agnes Mujagic passed away in her sleep in Anchorage on Thursday, March 6, 2014 four days shy of her 83rd birthday.

A graduate of Lincoln High School in Seattle, Diane lived for several years in California before returning to Seattle. There she built a career in management at the Space Needle from its opening in the early 60's. She met many celebrities as well as her devoted husband of 48 years, Milo Mujagic. They moved to Anchorage in 1967 to run the family business, Carl's Jewelers and Gifts, where she retired from 12 years ago. She was fortunate to have been able to travel the world. She loved her pets and donated very generously to multiple animal charities over her lifetime. She enjoyed fine art and was a gifted painter.

She is survived by her loving husband; her daughter, Cathryn Curtis of Portland; her sons, Carl Mujagic of Anchorage and Clifford Chatlien of Hawaii; grandchildren, Heather, Bryan, Caressa, Lucas, William, Cash, Elsiane, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by son, Christopher Chatlien of Anchorage.

Memorial donations should be directed to the Alaska SPCA at 549 W. International Airport Road, Anchorage AK 99518.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Turning Point Christian Center, 1612 Oceanview Drive, Anchorage.
