James E Blair
March 28, 1965 - April 29, 2017
Born in Killeen, Texas
Resided in Anchorage, AK
He was born in Killeen, Texas on March 28, 1965 to Dorothy and the late William Riley Blair. James was a veteran of both Gulf Wars and other conflicts that kept our country safe. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Engineman (SW/FMF) after 30 years of distinguished service to our country. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Navy never left him, as friends and family will attest.
James was a loving and devoted husband to his surviving wife, Lisa. He is survived by his loving Mother, Dorothy Blair; sisters, Anita Almendarez and Crystal Blair; Aunt and Uncle, Mickey and Fred Keller. He was preceded in death by his best friend and Cousin Charlie Keller. He was an Uncle to his nieces and nephew, Piper (16), Riley (14) and Charlie (12). He was a Godfather and friend to many others who were proud to call him "brother".
James was a Great man who had impacted so many lives. He taught us to live life to its fullest, and to treat one another with love and respect.
Though he is not with us anymore on Earth, his spirit will remain with us. 2 Corinthians 5 states " To be absent from this world is to be present with the Lord". He is with the Lord and in our hearts forever. We love you James. Until we meet again.
